10th Aegean Summer School in Visual Optics

 

The 10th Aegean Summer School in Visual Optics will take place at the Terra Maris Hotel in Hersonissos, Heraklion, Crete - Greece, from October 2nd until October 4th, 2011, immediately prior to the EVER 2011 meeting.

 

The Aegean Summer School in Visual Optics is an international course organised annually since 2002 by the Institute of Vision and Optics (IVO), University of Crete. The scientific program will cover many aspects of basic and advanced research on accommodation and presbyopia with an emphasis on

 

            • Ocular refraction and aberrations

            • Vision quality in the ageing eye

            • Crystalline lens and accommodation

            • Advances in spectacle and contact lens designs for presbyopia correction

            • Advances in the surgical modalities for presbyopia
